El vampiro y el ser humano. La evolución de la figura vampírica

[spa] El objetivo de este trabajo es hacer un recorrido por la historia de una de las figuras literarias más complejas del género fantástico: el vampiro. Una complejidad que nace del contraste de sentimientos que despierta en nosotros esta criatura que, por un lado, nos aterroriza y, sin embargo, nos hace sentir inevitablemente atraídos por él. Para ello, se ha abordado des de distintos puntos de vista su evolución, empezando por su origen en las leyendas rurales, pasando por un estudio del género fantástico al cual pertenece y centrándonos en su representación literaria más famosa, Drácula, hasta llegar a sus adaptaciones cinematográficas más determinantes durante el siglo XX. De esta manera, se pretende mostrar cómo, con el paso del tiempo, hemos ido acercándonos más a la esencia de este ser, una esencia que no deja de ser la nuestra propia más profundamente guardada.

[eng] The objective of this work is to take a journey through the history of one of the most complex literary figures of the fantastic genre: the vampire. A complexity that is born from the contrast of feelings that this creature awakens in us that, on the one hand, terrifies us and, however, makes us feel inevitably attracted to him. To do this, its evolution has been approached from different points of view, starting with its origin in rural legends, going through a study of the fantastic genre to which it belongs and focusing on its most famous literary representation, Dracula, until reaching its most decisive cinematographic adaptations of the 20th century. In this way, it is intended to show how, over time, we have been getting closer to the essence of this being, an essence that is still our own most deeply guarded.
