Didàcticas del Performance Art o una aproximación al arte de acción desde sus metodologías educativas

[spa] El arte de acción o performance es una manifestación artística contemporánea de difícil acotación. También comprendida como el arte de la vida, aglutina disciplinas de diverso orden con el punto compartido de utilizar el cuerpo humano como herramienta para la creación presentacional, y valorar su configuración semiótica de manera estética. En paralelo a la aceptación de la performance dentro del denominado mundo del arte, han aflorado diversas teorías -aunque todavía escasas- sobre cómo instruir a los artistas en esta forma de creación; así como análisis de las dificultades para asimilarla en entornos académicos que todavía se presentan. Este proyecto de investigación pretende trazar una historia del arte, revisitando el corpus didáctico producido por artistas y pedagogos, desde las primeras formas de arte de acción hasta su arraigo en la institución cultural, con la prospectiva futura de encontrar una respuesta en la historiografía a los principales retos a los que los educadores artísticos nos enfrentamos a la hora de instruir en performance art. Para ello, proponemos elaborar un estado de la cuestión sobre las principales estrategias investigadas durante el pasado siglo, con el objetivo último de sistematizar la realidad didáctica de la técnica, que pueda servir de base para un plan de acción que potencialmente la transforme.

[eng] Live art or performance is a difficult to delimit contemporary artistic manifestation. Also understood as the art of life, it brings together disciplines of various kinds with the shared point of using the human body as a tool for presentational creation, and valuing its semiotic configuration in an aesthetic way. Parallel to the acceptance of performance within the so-called world of art, various theories -although still few- have emerged on how to instruct artists in this form of creation; as well as analysis of the difficulties to assimilate it in academic environments that still exist. This research project aims to trace an art history that revisits the didactic corpus produced by artists and educators, from the first forms of action art to its roots in the cultural institution, with the future perspective of finding a response in historiography to the main challenges that as artistic educators we face when instructing in performance art. For this, we propose to elaborate a state of the question on the main strategies investigated during the last century, with the ultimate objective of systematizing the didactic reality of the technique, which can serve as the basis for an action plan that potentially transforms it.
