Abstract

[ca] Al principi de les societats humanes ja començarem creant un paisatge antròpic, elevant verticalment una pedra per fer un menhir, convertint-la en una nova cosa, en un símbol aturat en el temps. Des de llavors hem anat accelerant aquesta transformació del paisatge, del planeta i de les societats d’una forma cada vegada més tòxica i incompatible amb la vida, la nostra inclosa. Per sortir d’aquest control social biopolític que ens aboca a la no reflexió i a l’immobilisme ens cal una profunda reflexió crítica. Plantejo tornar al principi, a la deriva pels espais naturals per poder-los contemplar, aturar-nos a respirar, reflexionar. Bosc vol posar en valor aquests espais naturals i dins d’ells els arbres com a símbol de la vida. Els arbres en teoria viuen més anys que nosaltres, però estem donant la volta a aquestes dades. Els nostres arbres, els nostres boscos estan en perill, pels incendis que es produeixen cada any, però també per l’augment de la temperatura global. El canvi climàtic està provocant sequeres anuals repetides per a les quals els nostres arbres mediterranis no estan preparats, estan fent que els arbres morin i hauríem de ser-ne conscients, abans que només ens quedin arbres de ferro.

[eng] At the beginning of human societies we will already start by creating an anthropic landscape, raising a stone vertically to make a menhir, turning it into something new, a symbol stopped in time. Since then we have been accelerating this transformation of the landscape, the planet and societies in a way increasingly toxic and incompatible with life, including ours. To get out of this biopolitical social control that leads us to non-reflection and immobility, we need deep critical reflection. I suggest to go back to the beginning, drifting through the natural spaces to be able to contemplate them, stop to breathe, and to reflect. Bosc wants to highlight these natural spaces and within them the trees as a symbol of life. Trees theoretically live longer than us, but we are turning this data around. Our trees, our forests are in danger, due to the fires that occur every year, but also due to the increase in global temperature. Climate change is causing repeated annual droughts that our Mediterranean trees are not prepared for, they are causing the trees to die and we should be aware of this, before we are left only with iron trees.
