Abstract: Refugees are not refugees of their own free will, as they have been forced to flee their homes to save their lives or freedom. When they arrive in a host community, they find many difficulties integrating because they do not know the culture or language, they lack family or friends and they often suffer from discrimination and xenophobia. This makes them highly vulnerable and can put them at risk or in a situation of social exclusion.
