IX-X.-
dc.description.abstract[eng] My PhD dissertation offers a collection of Latin terms concerning textual criticism which belongs to the period between the fourth and sixth century AD. It is a technical study of the terminology used by commentators and scholiasts in order to explain how they transmitted Latin literary texts and it serves the purpose of offering an overall view of the Latin Textual Criticism of this period. The corpus which will be lexicalised includes about fifteen scholia and comentaries on Horace, Terence, Vergil, Cicero, Juvenal, Lucan, Statius, Persius and the Subscriptiones. The main challenge is to deal with the heterogeneity of chronology and authorship. Most of the texts derive from scholiastic material from the fourth, fifth or sixth century BC, which constantly changed until it reached its definitive form around the ninth or tenth century-
